Most Worshipful Grand Master

The Honorable Quincy G. Gant (24)

Right Worshipful Deputy Grand Master, Right Worshipful Senior and Junior Grand Wardens, Most Worshipful Past Grand Masters, Right Worshipful and Worshipful Brethren, Worshipful Masters, Wardens, Past Masters and brethren,

Good Afternoon,

To reach the pinnacle of this great organization is an achievement that is unmatched. The Most Worshipful Grand Master of Georgia Bruce James stated in his remarks Wednesday that he would soon be joining the ranks of A Most Worshipful Past Grand Master, and what an honor it is to serve and say that you have served and now pass the torch . Well, the torch has been passed to me and now the work really begins.

We often use the term higher heights and nobler deeds, from the Master who's elected to govern his lodge, to the Eminent Commander who's elected to guide his ship called the commandry, they all in some form or fashion, should want to achieve a higher height and nobler deed than the present state.

So together, let's see if we can achieve some higher heights and nobler deeds. I look forward to everybody placing at least one hand on the oar, as we in unison perform strokes powerful enough to propel this ship above and beyond.

Thank you all for electing me to this exalted position, and again, I look forward to the work ahead of us.

Fraternally Submitted,

The Honorable Quincy G. Gant
